Yazıdcızade

Descending from Defterdar Yokuşu toward Tophane, this historic building is among the first to define the Ottoman notion of luxury apartment living. Designed by E. G. Ladopoulos in 1915, it carries the memory of the Bosphorus-side neighbourhoods within its facade. Today, fourteen apartments and an art gallery keep that memory in circulation.
